However, if your self-directed search has not been as successful as you hoped, and you, your company, or your organization would like additional assistance in your public domain search, I offer a fee-based research service.
Tap my expertise and more than a decade of experience gained as a newspaper reporter and editor digging through public records, analyzing financial statements and interviewing sources. For 13 years, I worked as a reporter and editor at the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, The Tampa Tribune, The Miami Herald and The (Fort Myers) News-Press.
Before my journalism career, I earned a bachelor's degree in management science and an M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Management at Binghamton University in New York, and worked as an information technology systems analyst for Unisys Corp. I also hold a master's degree in journalism with minor studies in economics from the University of Michigan.
In addition, for the past 16 years, deep background research has been a significant part of my work with corporate, not-for-profit and public-sector clients in the areas of media relations, issues management and crisis communication.
Should my research uncover the need for more intensive probing, I can call on certified public accountants who are certified fraud examiners and an experienced bank fraud examiner. I am not a private investigator, and don't pretend to be one, however, I can refer you to licensed private investigators should your needs fall outside my areas of expertise.
